ICM strategy development
WELCOME to the Information and Communication Management (ICM) Strategy Development web portal
This web portal aims to support and provide resources and tools for persons who recognise the importance of and the need for the development of an information and communication management strategy for their organisation.
In today’s competitive and information-driven world, information must be embraced as a critical resource. Having an ICM strategy is therefore necessary for any type of organisation, because it allows them to better exploit the value that information has for their proper functioning, performance, efficiency, competitiveness and continued success. Consequently, organisations need relevant, timely, accurate and usable information to determine their strategic directions; oversee their day-to-day operations; maintain their competitive advantages; and stay informed of relevant developments in their surroundings.
On this web portal you are invited to consult various reports and access specific tools as well as take part in the online community to comment and share your experiences in ICM planning and strategy development.
For comments, suggestions and/or further information please contact: Christine Webster, Senior Programme Coordinator, Planning, Monitoring and Evaluation, CTA (webster@cta.int).
